02 NIGHTS MUNNAR| 01 NIGHT ALLAPPEY | 02 NIGHT KOVALAM
DAY 1- Cochin to Munnar
Morning): Pick up from Cochin Airport or Railway Station and proceed to Munnar, driving through the scenic mountain ranges of the Western Ghats. En route, witness the breathtaking Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, and visit a spice plantation.
(Evening): Enjoy a jeep safari, visit the Adventure Park, and experience a hot air balloon ride (optional).
Overnight stay: Munnar hotel.
DAY 2- Munnar Stay
(Morning): Start the day with a hearty breakfast go to visit the major attractions in Munnar.
(Afternoon): Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty dam, on the way down pass via Echo Point, Photo Point. Then Visit Kannan Devan Tea Museum provides an interesting insight about the history, culture, Tea plantation.
(Evening): Transfer to hotel and have visual treat of Kerala folk dance form “Kadhakali or Ancient martial art “Kalaripayatt”.
Over Night stay at Munnar.
DAY 3 –Munnar to Alleppey
(Morning): After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Alleppey check in to the HOUSEBOAT. Enjoy your day cruise at houseboat with the scenic backwaters of Alleppey by getting a glimpse of the village. The range of memorable experiences you can have in the coastal town of Alappuzha is almost overwhelming for first-time visitors. Surrounded by dense greenery including countless coconut trees that lean over the waters, these backwaters are navigated by all sorts of traditional boats, most famously by the Kerala River boats. On the way visit the spice garden and have and experience of seeing the spices and its plants.
(Evening): Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
DAY 4 –Alleppey to Varkala to Kovalam
(Morning): In the morning, after checking out from the Alleppey houseboat, your journey continues toward southern Kerala. Departing from the tranquil backwaters, you’ll head to Jatayu Earth Centre in Chadayamangalam.
(Afternoon): After exploring the Jatayu Earth Centre and soaking in the panoramic scenery, you’ll resume your journey to Kovalam, a famous beach destination known for its crescent-shaped shores and laid-back vibe.
(Evening): Upon arrival in Kovalam by evening, you can check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, enjoy a peaceful walk along the lighthouse beach or watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay will be in Kovalam.
DAY 5 – Kovalam to Poovar
(Morning): After breakfast, check out from your Kovalam hotel and begin the day with a scenic drive to Poovar Island, a tranquil paradise where golden sands meet the serene backwaters. Enjoy a boat cruise through the enchanting network of canals, rivers, and lagoons lined with coconut palms, mangroves, and exotic birdlife. This unique location offers breathtaking views where the backwaters merge with the Arabian Sea.
(Afternoon): Continue your journey to the Azhimala Shiva Temple, perched on a cliffside overlooking the turquoise sea. This temple is famous for its towering statue of Lord Shiva and peaceful coastal setting, making it a perfect spot for reflection and photography.
(Evening): Return to Kovalam and enjoy some leisure time at the beach or explore local
markets for souvenirs.
Overnight stay at Kovalam.
DAY 6 – Trivandrum City Tour Drop
(Morning): you will check out from your hotel in Kovalam and head to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) your first stop will be the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a sacred and historic temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known for its exquisite Dravidian architecture and spiritual ambiance. (Please ensure to follow the traditional dress code required for temple entry.)
(Afternoon): After the temple visit, proceed to the Napier Museum, which showcases a fine collection of art, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, and cultural artifacts in a beautifully designed Indo-Saracenic building. Right next door, you can explore the Trivandrum Zoo, one of the oldest and most well-maintained zoos in India, nestled within a lush, green landscape.
(Evening): you will be dropped off at the Trivandrum Railway Station in the evening,
marking the end of your memorable Kerala journey.
